Pitt to Receive Upcoming Visit from 4-Star Recruit

Pitt’s pursuit of 2026 4-star athlete Damon Ferguson continues.
Earlier this month, Ferguson announced that he would be making an official visit to Pitt from June 5-7th but he plans on making an additional visit to Oakland.
Aside from his trip in June, Ferguson has just announced that he’ll be making an upcoming unofficial visit to check out Pitt sometime in March for a spring practice.
The 5-foot-11, 190-pound four-star athlete from Milford Mill Academy in Baltimore, Maryland plans on making 4 spring visits- Pitt, West Virginia, North Carolina and Michigan State. Chad Simmons from On3 Sports was first with this news.
Ferguson tells PSN that his spring visit to Pitt will take place on March 22nd.
Following his decision to make an official visit, Pittsburgh Sports Now spoke with Ferguson about his relationship with Pitt.
“I like Pitt, and coach Lamar has been talking to me a lot,” Ferguson told Pittsburgh Sports Now. “I’ve visited three times, and I want to see the other parts of Pitt. I’ve been able to see all of the football, so now it’s time for me to get the entire experience.”
He’s picked up offers from Arkansas, Boston College, Cincinnati, Duke, Georgia Tech, Indiana, JMU, Maryland, Michigan State, Minnesota, North Carolina, Northwestern, Pitt, Rutgers, Syracuse, UCF, Virginia, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
Aside from Pitt, Ferguson has scheduled an official visit to Virginia.

Pitt has been in the mix for Ferguson since last January, and he’s heard from Lamar every step of the way — there’s a strong relationship. He made it out for a practice last March, returned for the Backyard Brawl last September.
He’s a sub-11.00 100-yard dasher, which points to his straight-line speed, but his quickness and burst stand out watching his tape.
In just nine games as a junior at Milford Mill, Ferguson exploded for 1,341 yards (12.8 yards per carry) and 16 touchdowns on the ground. He added six catches for 118 yards (18.8 yards per reception) and another touchdown. And he added 26 tackles, three interceptions and six pass breakups on defense.
247Sports rates Ferguson as the 23rd-ranked athlete and seventh-ranked recruit from Maryland while On3 rates him as the 22nd-ranked ranked athlete and seventh-ranked recruit from Maryland.
ESPN ranks him as a top 200 recruit in the country (14th-ranked athlete and fifth-ranked recruit from Maryland.
