Pitt FB Recruiting
Pitt to Receive Official Visit from Four-Star Receiver

Pitt football’s offensive coordinator Kade Bell and wide receivers coach JJ Laster have made it clear what type of receivers they are looking for on the recruiting trail: smaller, but speedier receivers that can create space at all three levels of the defense.
The duo has also made it a priority to recruit receivers out of their home state of Florida. One of their key targets out of the Sunshine State will be taking an official visit with the Panthers.
Larry Miles — a 6-foot, 174-pound prospect out of Jones High School in Orlando, Fla. — will visit Pitt for an official visit from June 5, according to Tom Loy of 247Sports.
Pitt offered Miles on Oct. 19 of 2024 as holds additional offers from Miami, Florida State, Ole Miss, Missouri, Kentucky, Arkansas, West Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Syracuse, Boston College, Louisville, Wake Forest, Maryland, Iowa, Purdue, Indiana, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa State, UCF, Arizona, Kansas State and others.
Miles is rated as a four-star recruit, according to Rivals. He ranks as the No. 8 slot receiver in the 2026 cycle, the 31st player in the state of Florida and the 213th overall recruit in the class.
1-on-1 in the slot with Larry Miles is unfair 😭 @d1larry123

During his junior season, Miles pulled in 63 receptions for 1,153 yards and 13 touchdowns. His footwork and acceleration stand out on film and align with what Pitt is looking for at receiver.
Pitt has kept in contact regularly with Miles, but the Panthers will have to battle with some tough competition in Louisville, who will receive an official visit on June 20. He will also take an official visit with Kentucky on June 13. Miami is another school to keep an eye on.
Along with Miles, five other wide receivers have scheduled official visits with Pitt. Demetrice McCray and Dylan Wester will both visit on June 5-7. Nyqir Helton, who has Pitt in his top five schools, will visit on June 12-14. Santana Carlos and Zechariah Jenkins will officially check out the program from June 19-21.
