Watch: Duquesne WBB Prepares For A-10s

The Duquesne Women’s Basketball Team is set to tip it off Thursday at 11 a.m. in an Atlantic 10 Championship second round game against the Fordham Rams.
Fordham is an opponent quite familiar for the Dukes as it bested Duquesne by a combined five points across both meetings.
“We’re happy with the single bye, just having that and playing Fordham a team we’ve seen before, I still think we would be fresh if we were able to beat them and face Richmond,” senior guard Megan McConnell said. “I think our biggest thing is going out there and just being true to who we are, winning the rebounding battle and I think everything else will play itself out.”
After practice Monday, PSN’s Zachary Weiss caught up with McConnell and coach Dan Burt to discuss their thoughts on the tournament as a whole and what it will take to make a run in Henrico.
