West Mifflin Star RB Armand Hill Commits to West Virginia

Armand Hill, one of the top players in the WPIAL’s Class of 2027, has decided to end his college recruitment early.
This afternoon, the 4-star running back from West Mifflin, announced on Twitter his decision to commit to Rich Rodriguez and the West Virginia Mountaineers.
Prior to committing to the Mountaineers, Hill also held offers from Pitt, Penn State, Michigan, Maryland, Syracuse, Toledo, Akron and UNLV.

Hill (5’10”, 165-pounds) is currently ranked by Rivals.com as the No. 4 player in Pennsylvania for the Class of 2027 and the No. 134 player overall in the country.
The last WPIAL player to commit to West Virginia was Bishop Canevin 3-star athlete Jason Cross Jr., who was a member of the Class of 2024.
Hill becomes the second highly ranked WPIAL running back to make an early commitment. Last August, McKeesport 4-star Kemon Spell made a commitment to James Franklin and Penn State.
Other top talents in WPIAL’s Class of 2027 include Central Catholic 4-star offensive tackle Jimmy Kalis, Imani Christian 4-star defensive back Gabriel Jenkins, Penn Hills 4-star athlete Carter Bonner, Seton LaSalle 4-star athlete Khalil Taylor and Central Catholic 3-star athlete Zachary Gleason.
