PITTSBURGH — On Saturday night, Pitt honored three of its seniors before the game against Boston College as part of Senior Night.

Pitt honored Ishmael Leggett, Zack Austin, and Vason Stevenson before the game. The players, joined by family members, were greeted on the court with a framed Pitt jersey.

Check out the full ceremony here.

Stevenson, a Montour graduate and Western PA native, is the longest-tenured Panther out of the group. Austin and Leggett both transferred to Pitt before the 2023-24 season, beginning their collegiate careers at High Point and Rhode Island, respectively.

Austin has started over 110 games in his four-year collegiate career so far. In each of his two seasons at High Point, he averaged 14 points per game. This season for Pitt, he has started 21 games and is averaging over nine points and four rebounds per game.

Leggett has also started more than 110 games in his career, between Rhode Island and Pitt. Leggett has scored over 1,800 points in his collegiate career, and is averaging more than 16 points per game this season for Pitt.

Pitt graduate student Damian Dunn did not take part in senior night festivities.

“We have a kid on our team, we have senior night coming up on Saturday, he told us he doesn’t want to do it,” Capel said. “It would be his third one. Think about that. You have guys coming to your program for one year and they’re going to a Senior Night and it may be their third one or fourth one. It’s just a completely different time now.”
