WATCH: Pat Narduzzi Honors Mason Alexander with First Spring Press Conference

PITTSBURGH — Pitt football head coach Pat Narduzzi spent the first spring camp press conference honoring the late Mason Alexander, a freshman cornerback in the program who died in a car accident at the beginning of March.
Narduzzi spoke on the impact the death of Alexander has had on the program and how players have come together in mourning. As an early enrollee, Alexander quickly became a close member of the program even in the short amount of time he spent at Pitt.
Alexander is expected to be laid out on March 25 back in his hometown of Indianapolis, Ind. Narduzzi says the program will take that Tuesday off to allow players and coaches to travel and attend the funeral services.
