Florida LB Locks in Pitt Official Visit

The Pitt Panthers have locked in an official visit from a talented prospect from Florida.

2026 3-star linebacker Desmond Johnson, from Northwestern High School in Miami, Florida, has announced his plans to visit Pitt later this summer.

Johnson (6’1″, 200-pounds) says that his official visit will take place from June 19-21st. This becomes the second announced official visit for Johnson, with Central Florida being his first.

At this stage of his recruitment, Johnson holds offers from Pitt, Arkansas, Central Florida, Florida Atlantic, Florida State, Liberty, Michigan, NC State, South Florida, SMU, Wake Forest and Western Michigan.

Johnson picked up his offer from the Pitt staff on February 10th.

Johnson becomes the 4th player to schedule an official visit to Pitt during the weekend of June 19-21, joining 4-star running back Kory Amachree, 3-star offensive lineman Rhett Morris and 3-star wide receiver Zechariah Jenkins.
