PITTSBURGH — Pitt spring practice No. 5 was moved indoors ahead of the Panthers’ first scrimmage of camp set for Saturday at Acrisure Stadium.

That did not slow down the Panthers from bringing the intensity, including from the defensive back unit.

At corner, Tamon Lynum, Rashan Murray, Shadarian Harrison, Nigel Maynard and Shawn Lee Jr. are some of the names that were putting in reps at practice on Tuesday.

Cruce Brookins looks to replace Donovan McMillon as the starter at the boundary safety position, alongside Javon McIntyre. UC Davis transfer Kavir Bains-Marquez, Jesse Anderson and Josh Guerrier are all pushing for a spot on the two-deep.
