Die-Hards: Talented Florida RB Kaj Nitro Baker Gives Pitt Rave Reviews

Offensive coordinator Kade Bell has been the central figure of a lot of recent Pitt football news over the last couple of weeks.
First and more most, the Pitt football program was able to lock Bell up to a contract extension. The fact that this was done after just one season on the job tells you what the university thinks of him and the importance he plays in the future of the football program.
Aside from his offensive system, Bell’s value is starting to be shown on the recruiting trail.

The 32-year-old has boundless energy and his passion for recruiting his quite obvious, which is a must if you’re going to excel in that difficult business.
Not surprisingly, the area in which Bell is having success is the state in which he’s from — Florida.
Pitt’s last three commitments, including their latest one yesterday, have been from players from Florida: 2026 three-star wide receiver Dylan Wester (Sarasota, Florida), 2027 three-star wide receiver Jacob Thomas (Pembroke Pines, Florida) and 2027 three-star running back Tyler Reid (Miramar, Florida).
The Panthers will no doubt continue to prioritize that talent rich state and on Thursday, Bell and the Panthers hosted a big-time running back from Miami.
Pittsburgh Sports Now spoke last with 2026 three-star running back Kaj Baker.
