Pitt has reached out to another transfer portal prospect, according to a report by Jamie Shaw of On3.

The Panthers’ staff has reached out to Toby Harris, a 6-foot-8 wing/forward out of Brandeis, an NCAA DIII school. Harris averaged 18.8 points and 5.5 rebounds per game this past season as a senior. He went 65 for 161 on three-point attempts, a 40% mark.

Harris had the best statistical season of his career as a sophomore two years ago, averaging a career-best 19.2 points per game and hitting 44% of his three-point tries. He then played only three games in the 2023-24 season due to injury.

“Injuries derailed his junior campaign, as what started out as groin strain turned into a torn labrum in his hip,” his roster profile says.

Pitt Reaches Out to One of Transfer Portal’s Top Rebounders

Pitt has now reached out to two transfers in the portal so far (that we know of): Harris and JaMichael Stillwell.

Out of all of the players (300+) at the Division One level that have either entered or pledged to enter the transfer portal, Stillwell is the No. 2 rebounder available. The 6-foot-8 forward, 225-pound forward averaged 13 points and 10.7 rebounds per game this year for the Panthers.

This was his first season at Milwaukee, coming from Butler County Community College in Kansas. He is an Atlanta, Georgia native, whose nickname is “Mr. Stand On Business,” according to the Milwaukee basketball roster. Stillwell played high-school ball at Elevation Prep.

This season, Stillwell posted a 19-rebound game against Green Bay, as well as a 26-point game against Robert Morris. He averaged 28 minutes per game and shot 29% from three-point range, making 20 threes on the season. Stillwell blocked 12 shots and had 40 steals on the year, while scoring in double figures 26 times.

Kayser also reported that he has received interest from the following schools so far: Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Loyola Marymount, Kansas State, Iowa State, Illinois, Georgia, Georgia Tech, George Washington, Florida State, DePaul, Dayton, Colorado, Cincinnati, BYU, Butler, and others.

Stay tuned for transfer portal coverage on The Portal Report as well as PSN this spring.
