Duquesne’s Kareem Rozier Enters Transfer Portal

The NCAA Transfer Portal officially opened at midnight and the Duquesne men’s basketball program has their first defection.
Per Verbal Commits, Dukes point guard Kareem Rozier has placed his name in the portal.
The junior from Detroit, Michigan has played in 101 games over the last few years for the Dukes and was a favorite of former Duquesne head coach Keith Dambrot.
In 32 games this past season, Rozier averaged 6.7 points per game, 3.3 assists, 1.9 rebounds, while shooting 33.5% from the field. All of those numbers for a career-high for Rozier. As a junior, the fiery guard averaged 5.2 points, 2.4 assists and 1.8 rebounds.
The departure of Rozier means that adding a point guard will be a top priority for head coach Dru Joyce and his staff.
