Penn State and ACC Rival Reach Out to Pitt Transfer Amsal Delalic

Several notable schools have already contacted Amsal Delalic since the Pitt wing entered the transfer portal on Tuesday.
According to a source, Delalic has heard from Clemson, Wisconsin, Penn State, and Utah since entering the portal.
Delalic had a solid showing against Wisconsin at The Greenbrier earlier in the year, posting nine points in 16 minutes off the bench. He went 4 for 4 from the field in that game, which the Badgers won. He did not play in Pitt’s matchup against Clemson this year.
Delalic, a 6-foot-8 wing, averaged 3.8 points per game while shooting 46% from the field and 35% from three for the Panthers. He appeared in 21 games after beginning the season injured and not playing in some of Pitt’s mid and late-season games. The Bosnian showed flashes of offensive success in his limited minutes, and had five games with at least seven points.
Pitt’s 21-year-old freshman was coming off a season in which he averaged 13.9 points and 4.6 rebounds in the top Bosnian professional league prior to coming to Pitt. He shot an even 40% from three-point range last year, going 82 for 205 from beyond the arch.
Then, last spring, he visited Pitt, and shortly after, committed to the Panthers’ program.
In addition, Pitt’s Marlon Barnes Jr., Guillermo Diaz Graham, and Jorge Diaz Graham are all in the transfer portal looking for new homes.
