After they both entered the portal earlier this week, the twins have now released statements on social media, saying goodbye to the city of Pittsburgh and the Pitt community.

FROM GUILLERMO DIAZ GRAHAM

After spending time reflecting on my future and discussing it with those closest to me, I’ve made the tough decision to enter the transfer portal and explore new opportunities. Over the past few years, I’ve grown in ways I never imagined on but specially off the court. Wearing the Pitt jersey was a true honor, and I’ll always take pride in having been a part of this program and culture…”

“I want to express my forever gratitude to Coach Capel, Coach O’Toole and the entire coaching staff. Thank you for always believing in me, for pushing me and demanding me to be my best every single day and specially for allowing me to be part of this Familia.”

FROM JORGE DIAZ GRAHAM:

“After much reflection and conversations with my family, I’ve made the difficult decision to enter the transfer portal and pursue new challenges,” Jorge said. “These past three years at the University of Pittsburgh have been some of the most important and transformative of my life. I will always be grateful for the opportunity to wear the Pitt jersey and represent such a historic program.”

“To Coach Capel and the entire coaching staff — thank you for believing in me, pushing me, and guiding me through both the triumphs and the tough moments…”
