Pitt Reaches Out to 6’5 ACC Starter in Transfer Portal

The Pitt staff is hard at work in the transfer portal this week after the portal officially opened for business on Monday.
The Panthers’ staff has reached out to a number of prospects currently in the portal, and the latest one comes from the ACC. Pitt has reached out to Chandler Jackson, a 6-foot-5 wing out of Florida State.
Jackson is a junior from Memphis, Tennessee. He averaged 6.3 points and 2.1 rebounds per game this season for the Seminoles while shooting 42% from the field. Jackson did not attempt many threes, taking just 39 on the entire season and making just six. He did shoot 38% from three his freshman season, but his percentage from deep has decreased each year since.
Jackson started 27 out of the 29 games that he played for FSU this past season under head coach Leonard Hamilton, who has since retired.
Pitt has reached out to many players in the portal already, including Corey Chest out of LSU, Tae Davis out of Notre Dame, and others.
