Pitt FB Recruiting
2026 4-Star OL Tyreek Jemison Excited by Pitt Offer

Aside from their scrimmage this morning, the Pitt football coaches were busy recruiting and extending new offers.
Following the scrimmage at Acrisure Stadium, the Pitt staff jumped on a zoom call to extend their latest offer to a 4-star recruit.
2026 4-star offensive lineman Tyreek Jemison from Paulding County High School in Dallas, Georgia found out his latest offer was from the Pitt Panthers. Jemison (6’5″, 315-pounds) is a Rivals 5.8 recruit with Power 4 offers from Georgia Tech, Nebraska, North Carolina, NC State, Rutgers, Stanford and Wake Forest.
After announcing the offer on Twitter, Pittsburgh Sports Now had the chance to catch up briefly with Jemison to get his thoughts on the offer and the Pitt program.
“The Pitt offer means a lot to me,” Jemison tells PSN. “Coach LG and Coach Darv made it very special for me, along with this great relationship that we’ve been building. I found about the great news during a great FaceTime call with Coach Darv (Pitt OL Coach Jeremy Darveau).”
“We had a conversation about their scrimmage from earlier that day and he told me that it went well. Then Coach introduced me to his former OL Coach LG, who holds the pancake award and told me I can be just like him. He then said that he loves how I play and that he wanted to offer me.”
Despite being from Georgia, Jemison tells me that he’s familiar with the Pitt program and plans on learning more about them following the offer.
“I have some understanding about Pitt!!,” said Jemison. “They’re in the ACC for one. Secondly, they are a powerhouse in the ACC, and I’ve seen they’ve won a lot of games in their conference, and I also know the education they provide is great.”

Jemison tells me that the strength of his game is the physicality and nastiness in which he plays with.
“I love to finish my blocks and hurt the opposing football players,” said Jemison. “As an offensive lineman, I love seeing the defensive lineman picking themselves up off the ground needing a substitute.
“I am definitely going to consider an unofficial and official visit to Pitt! Now of course, I just got the offer today so I don’t have any dates but as soon as I get them, I will send it over too you!!”
