Who is Duquesne Recruiting in the Transfer Portal?

Duquesne’s men’s basketball staff is hard at work in the transfer portal, reaching out to players from all levels to fill next year’s roster.

Let’s take a look at some of the names that have been publicly linked to the Dukes’ staff since the portal opened last Monday.

THEMUS FULKS – MILWAUKEE

Fulks is a 6-foot-2 senior guard who averaged 14.6 points per game and 5.9 assists per game this past season for Milwaukee in the Horizon League.

 

DERRIN BOYD – COLLEGE OF CHARLESTON

Boyd is a 6-foot-3 senior guard who averaged 13.9 PPG for Charleston this year. He has previously played for Georgetown College (NAIA) and Lipscomb (D1), and shot 39% from three-point range this season, too.

BRANDON MACLIN – RADFORD

Maclin is a 6-foot-5 guard who averaged 10 PPG and 4.3 RPG this season for Radford. He shot 34% from three-point range as well.

ROMAD DEAN – FORDHAM

Dean is a 6-foot-7 junior forward out of The Bahamas. He averaged 6.9 points and 5.6 rebounds per game for the Rams this past season.

RJ JOHNSON – CHARLESTON SOUTHERN

Johnson is a 6-foot-1 RSJR guard out of Matthews, North Carolina. He previously played for Holy Cross as well. He started 24 games this year, averaging 13.8 PPG and 4.5 APG.

CHRISTIAN HENRY – EASTERN MICHIGAN

Henry is a junior out of Chicago. The guard averaged 14.7 points and 3.4 assists per game for the Eagles, while shooting 37% from three.

RODNEY BROWN JR. – VIRGINIA TECH

Brown is a 6-foot-6 sophomore guard out of the ACC. He played in 18 games for the Hokies this year, averaging 4.1 points per game.

JAYLON JOHNSON – TENNESSEE TECH

Johnson is a 6-foot guard who averaged 14.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game.
