**The recruitment of North Allegheny 2026 DT Lincoln Hoke just got interesting as he received an offer from West Virginia while on an unofficial visit. Hoke’s two Power Four offers are from Pitt and West Virginia.

Update (11:33 AM)-
**The national interest in Pitt 2027 4-star wide receiver commit Jacob Thomas continues as this morning he receives an offer from Florida State. Since committing to Pitt, Thomas has received offers from Miami Fla., Florida International, Marshall, Boston College, Kentucky, Purdue and Auburn.

Update (10:11 AM)- 

**This morning, JJ Laster and Pitt have extended an offseason to 2026 wide receiver Damarius Higgs from McArthur High School in Hollywood, Florida. Higgs has other offers from NC State, Western Kentucky and Coastal Carolina.

**An early offer this morning as talented Southmoreland freshman quarterback Anthony Smith receives an offer from Sacramento State. Smith received the offer from Sacramento State assistant coach Darrin Walls. Along with the Hornets, Smith received his first offer from Syracuse. Last season, Smith finished the season with 2,110 yards and 22 touchdowns.

Update (8:07 AM)-
**The Pitt staff continues to show interest in 2026 wide receiver Blake Hamilton. The native of Katy, Texas will be in town later this month for Pitt’s Spring Game and has also scheduled an official visit to Pitt from June 5-7.

Update (7:57 AM)-
**Another offer for rising 2027 prospect James Halter. While on an unofficial visit, the talented offensive tackle from Central Catholic High School received an offer from Michigan State. This becomes his 3rd Power Four offer (NC State and Boston College).
