Spring Takeaway Stickers: Which Pitt Players Are Making Splash Plays?

PITTSBURGH — Pitt football’s defense is always on the hunt to make a splash play, even during spring practice.
During the 2024 season, Pitt forced 13 interceptions and recovered five fumble recoveries. Kyle Louis was all over the field for the Panthers a year ago, leading the team with four interceptions, while Cruce Brookins recorded two more. Rasheem Biles, Brandon George and P.J. O’Brien Jr. each registered an interception and fumble recovery.
With Goerge and O’Brien gone, the Panthers will need some new faces to force turnovers on defense and in the secondary. During camp season, Pitt players who make a splash play receive a white sticker on their gold helmet with ‘TAKEAWAY” clearly pasted across the dome.
Here’s an updated look at which Pitt players have received “TAKEAWAY” stickers so far through four weeks of spring camp.
