WATCH: Pitt Coordinators Kade Bell, Randy Bates Address Spring Standouts

PITTSBURGH — Pitt offensive coordinator Kade Bell and defensive coordinator Randy Bates spoke to the media for the first time during spring camp on Thursday down on the South Side.

Both coordinators addressed which players stood out on either side of the ball and overall takeaways as camp came to a close

Bell specifically detailed the work in the quarterback room, the growth of the young running backs and overall depth of the wide receivers.

For Bates, he discussed the newest additions at defensive end and in the secondary. He also talked about the middle of the defense, including d-tackles, linebackers and safeties being a strength for the Panthers.
