Transfer Portal Roundup: Who is Pitt Recruiting?

More than 2,000 division one men’s basketball players have entered the transfer portal since it opened on March 24.
Now, teams are scrambling to bring in talent from all over the D1 (and other levels) level, looking to fill out their rosters.
As the week wraps up, I wanted to round up all of the Pitt transfer portal news that we’ve gathered this week.
RECRUITING NEWS
Pitt’s Milan Brown reached out to Robert Morris transfer guard Kam Woods‘ agent, Woods told PSN.
Pitt made the top three for Oregon State transfer Damarco Minor.
The Pitt staff contacted Western Michigan transfer guard Chansey Willis’ agent.
Pitt showed interest in South Carolina transfer wing Zachary Davis.
According to Jon Rothstein, Pitt will host UNCW transfer Khamari McGriff.
Pitt met with Syracuse transfer Chris Bell this week.
Pitt is in the top-five for Chattanooga transfer Honor Huff.
Pitt has shown interest in Cincinnati transfer Dan Skillings Jr.
LSU transfer Corey Chest committed to Ole Miss. Pitt had previously contacted him.
Quinnipiac’s Amarri Monroe decided not to transfer.
OUTGOING PITT TRANSFERS
Papa Amadou Kante entered the portal.
Jaland Lowe committed to Kentucky.
Former Pitt big John Hugley committed to Duquesne.

COMMITMENTS
Pitt landed Iowa State transfers Nojus Indrusaitis and Dishon Jackson.
Indrusaitis, who spent his high-school years in the Chicago area, was ranked as the No. 96 player and a four-star prospect in the class of 2024 before going to Iowa State. He played for Meanstreets EYBL and also competed for Saint Rita High School in Chicago before going to Brewster Academy.
Jackson is a 6-11, 275-pound senior center, who this past season averaged 8.5 points and 5.1 rebounds per game in 18.7 minutes of action. The year prior, he averaged 11.4 points and 6.1 rebounds. His best two performances last year were a 17-point, 4 rebound game against Kansas and a 14-point, 5-rebound effort against TCU.
