Duquesne Basketball Recruiting
Duquesne Hosting Former BYU 4-Star PG

After signing former 4-star center John Hugley out of the transfer portal, the Duquesne Dukes are working on landing another highly rated player.
Former BYU guard Elijah Crawford is in town today on a visit to check out Dru Joyce’s program.
Crawford is a freshman and a former 4-star recruit in the Class of 2024. 247 Sports ranked Crawford as the No. 9 point guard prospect in the Class of 2024. Crawford was originally committed to Stanford before flipping to BYU. The New Hampshire native also held offers from Georgia, Xavier, Ole Miss, LSU, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Central Florida and Boston College.

Crawford appeared in 21 games for BYU this past season, averaging just 5.2 minutes and 1.2 points per contest.
Talent evaluators consider Crawford a point guard and someone that is a three-level scorer with the ability to create his own shot.
