Carmichael was the No. 1 scorer in the WPIAL this past season, averaging 32 points per game in the regular season. Carmichael jumped over the 2,000-point total for his high-school career this season, too.
Carmichael is the son of current La Roche (D3) head basketball coach Hermie Carmichael. His father commented on the commitment online, congratulating his son and the Edinboro program.
