College Basketball and Football Transfer Portals Close This Week

As a reminder, the college basketball and football transfer portals close this week.
Now, the portal closing does not put any timeline on when players can commit to new schools. However, the portal closing marks the end of the time period that the NCAA will allow undergraduate transfers to leave their school and go to a new school without having to sit out next year. *Note: Graduate transfers and players whose coaches leave/get fired can enter the portal after the portal closes.
