Duquesne

The transfer portal will close at midnight on April 22, marking the end of a 30-day free-for-all in men’s college basketball.

Players of all NCAA levels and years have been able to enter the portal (and retain immediate eligibility next season) for the past 30 days. Following the 22nd, only players who go through a coaching change will be able to enter their name into the portal.

Let’s take a look at which players opted to stick with Duquesne and not enter their name into the transfer portal this window so far. *Note: Players are required to submit their paperwork by midnight on April 22 in order to retain immediate eligibility for next season. There is a possibility that some of these players can submit the paperwork on the final day and be officially entered into the portal in the coming days.

ALEX WILLIAMS – FORWARD – GRADUATE STUDENT

Williams transferred to Duquesne from Furman last year. However, he missed the entire 2024-25 season due to injury.

CAM CRAWFORD – WING – REDSHIRT SENIOR

Crawford has played one season for the Dukes so far and will return to the team for next season, per source. He averaged 8.6 points per game and shot 43% from three-point range this season for Duquesne.

DAVID DIXON – FORWARD – SENIOR

Dixon averaged 5.7 points and 5.1 rebounds per game for the Dukes last season, playing in 32 games for an average of 18 minutes per game.

BRANDON HALL – GUARD – SENIOR

Hall missed last season due to an injury. Former JUCO prospect committed to Duquesne ahead of the 2024-25 season.

JAKUB NECAS – WING – JUNIOR

Necas, a 6-foot-8 wing, averaged 6 points and 4.4 rebounds per game last season as a sophomore. He played 23.9 minutes per game, doubling his playing time from his freshman year.

JAKE DIMICHELE – GUARD – JUNIOR

DiMichele played just seven games as a sophomore, battling injuries throughout the year. In those seven games, he starred, scoring 10.9 points per game in 24.3 minutes per contest.
