OLD STORY

Cal transfer Andrej Stojakovic is down to three schools, and two of them are ACC programs. He has narrowed his list down to Illinois, North Carolina, and Stanford, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.

Stojakovic began his career at Stanford. The 6-foot-7 sophomore then transferred to California this past year and starred for the Golden Bears, averaging 17.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. He shot 43% from the field and 32% from three-point range while making 82% of his free throws. Stojakovic, the son of former NBA star Peja Stojakovic, scored 19 points in a loss to Pitt this season. He earned All-ACC honorable mention honors this past season.

Many top players have already committed to transfer into the ACC this offseason. Adrian Wooley out of Kennesaw State is heading to Louisville to join Pat Kelsey’s squad. Nick Davidson out of Nevada has committed to Clemson. Malik Reneau out of Indiana is heading to Miami. Valparaiso’s Cooper Schwieger has committed to Wake Forest. Xavier’s Ryan Conwell will join Wooley in the Louisville back court. Carson Towt out of Northern Arizona is heading to Notre Dame.

Pitt has currently landed four commitments out of the portal: Dishon Jackson, Nojus Indrusaitis, Damarco Minor, and Barry Dunning Jr.
