With the recent addition of former Xavier center John Hugley, the Dukes front court suddenly became crowded with Hugley, Wilborn, David Dixon, Alex Williams, Chabi Barre and Jakub Necas. Barre also entered the portal, and eventually committed to Akron.

Barre entered the portal after spending three seasons on the Bluff. Barre. a 6-foot-9, 225-pound junior forward, played in 18 games this past season, earning 11 starts for Dru Joyce III in his first season as Duquesne men’s basketball head coach.
