Jorge Diaz Graham Commits to New School; To Play Against Twin

Jorge Diaz Graham has committed to Oregon State after three years at Pitt.
Diaz Graham put out a message to the fans and those within the Pitt basketball program when he and his brother entered the portal weeks ago.
“After much reflection and conversations with my family, I’ve made the difficult decision to enter the transfer portal and pursue new challenges,” Jorge said. “These past three years at the University of Pittsburgh have been some of the most important and transformative of my life. I will always be grateful for the opportunity to wear the Pitt jersey and represent such a historic program.”
His brother Guillermo recently committed to San Francisco. San Francisco and Oregon State will play each other twice next season.
Guillermo said goodbye to Pittsburgh recently after entering the portal.
“After spending time reflecting on my future and discussing it with those closest to me, I’ve made the tough decision to enter the transfer portal and explore new opportunities,” he said online. “Over the past few years, I’ve grown in ways I never imagined on but specially off the court. Wearing the Pitt jersey was a true honor, and I’ll always take pride in having been a part of this program and culture…”
“I want to express my forever gratitude to Coach Capel, Coach O’Toole and the entire coaching staff. Thank you for always believing in me, for pushing me and demanding me to be my best every single day and specially for allowing me to be part of this Familia.”
