Recapping a Busy Tuesday of Pitt Football Recruiting

The Pitt football coaching staff is out in full force this week recruiting various players in the Class of 2026, 2027 and 2028.

At least at the start of the week, one of the states that’s receiving the most attention from Pitt is Texas. By our count, the Panthers have at least four coaches in the state recruiting different areas of the talent rich state.

I find it interesting that secondary coach Archie Collins, who’s normally in Georgia and Michigan, is one of the coaches in Texas.

Not surprisingly, Pitt also has multiple coaches in Florida and as the week moves on, I’d imagine coaches will be moving on to different areas.

On Tuesday, the Pitt coaches were busy handing out offers and here’s a recap of the activity.

**Archie Collins stopped by to see 2026 defensive back Rodney Thomas from Bellaire, Texas. At this point, Thomas (6’2″, 170-p0unds) doesn’t have an offer from Pitt but does from Boston College, LSU and San Diego State.
