After one season in the Pitt football program, offensive lineman Adham Abouraya hit the transfer portal during the spring window and has since landed at a new school.

The 6-foot-5, 280-pound lineman from Downingtown East High School in Downingtown, Pa. committed to Eastern Michigan in the Mid-American Conference on Saturday, he announced via X.

Abouraya entered the transfer portal on April 15 with four seasons of eligibility remaining. He visited Eastern Michigan on Wednesday prior his commitment.

As a freshman, Abouraya did not see any playing time in the fall and redshirted. He was out for the entirety of spring camp as he recovered from an injury.

A member of the 2024 recruiting class, Abouraya was a three-star prospect, the 114th interior offensive lineman and the 30th player in Pennsylvania. He held other offers from Maryland, Syracuse, Rutgers, West Virginia, Temple and Bowling Green. He was also a standout wrestler.

Pitt lost five offensive linemen during the spring transfer portal period. Walk-on twin brothers Graysen Riffe and Brody Riffe committed to Eastern Kentucky, Moritz Schmoranzer landed at Appalachian State and Terrence Enos Jr. went to the Big 12 with Kansas State.

In addition, wide receiver Andy Jean has landed at Arkansas, while tight end Jake Renda has signed with UCLA.
