Two of last year’s Pitt players will face off next season on their new teams.

Jorge Diaz Graham recently announced his transfer to Oregon State, days apart from Marlon Barnes Jr. announcing his commitment to Evansville. The two former teammates will square off early in the season in the Paradise Jam event, according to a report on Friday.

National scheduling expert Rocco Miller reported the Paradise Jam bracket on Friday, one that including a first-round matchup between the Beavers and the Aces.

Barnes himself even hinted at the matchup against Diaz Graham on Twitter, too.

Barnes committed to Evansville in late April.

Barnes spent two years at Pitt, redshirting his first season, and appearing in eight games in his redshirt freshman campaign this year. He played a key role for Pitt in its upset win at Ohio State, checking in late in the game and fouling the opponent in a key moment. Barnes made a three pointer against Boston College, logging his first career collegiate points.

This past season, Diaz Graham averaged 3.1 points and 0.9 rebounds per game.

Diaz Graham will also face off against his twin brother, Guillermo, who also transferred out of Pitt this spring. Guillermo recently committed to San Francisco, which competes in the West Coast Conference against Oregon State.

Guillermo said goodbye to Pittsburgh recently after entering the portal.

“After spending time reflecting on my future and discussing it with those closest to me, I’ve made the tough decision to enter the transfer portal and explore new opportunities,” he said online. “Over the past few years, I’ve grown in ways I never imagined on but specially off the court. Wearing the Pitt jersey was a true honor, and I’ll always take pride in having been a part of this program and culture…”
