What are the Early Odds for Pitt to Win the ACC in 2025?

It might be May, but it’s never too early to start considering if Pitt will contend for an Atlantic Coast Conference title in 2025.

Last season, it was a tale of two seasons for Pitt. The Panthers got fans’ hopes up with a 7-0 start, including three wins to open ACC play and were starting to enter the title game conversation. However, an abysmal end to the season with six-consecutive loses shot down any plans of the program’s third championship game appearance.

With spring football in the books, focus shifts towards the fall and what the season will look like. Pitt returns offensive starters quarterback Eli Holstein, running back Desmond Reid and wide receiver Kenny Johnson. The program put an emphasis on improving the offensive line with a trio of transfers with plenty of experience.

Defensively, Pitt brings back a deep defensive tackle room and new-look defensive end group. The linebackers were one of the most productive units in the country with All-American Kyle Louis and look to top that. The secondary has returners Rashad Battle, Tamon Lynum and Javon McIntyre back.

Of course, anything can happen, but what are the early odds looking like for Pitt?

When it comes to the over/under win total, FanDuel Sportsbook has set Pitt’s line at 5.5.

As for the 2025 ACC Championship Game winner, Pitt is a long shot.

The Panthers are tied with the 11th-best odds to win the title game at +6500, alongside Syracuse.

Clemson is the early clear-cut favorite with +145 odds to win the title and defend its 2024 crown after defeating SMU 34-31.
