Maryland OL Announces Visit to Pitt

Pitt is less than a month from the important process of hosting high school recruits on official visits.
This morning, another player in the Class of 2026 announced his intentions of traveling to Pittsburgh for an official visit in June.
2026 3-star interior offensive lineman Adrian Hamilton, from St. John’s College High School in Washington DC, will be at Pitt from June 12-14. This will be Hamilton’s second visit to Pitt after having attended Junior Day with his family back in January.
“I decided to visit Pitt because I’ve been really interested in the program and wanted to see everything for myself, Hamilton tells PSN. “Right away, I noticed how much pride there is in the football team and how serious they are about developing players. The coaches and players have a strong bond, and you can tell it’s a place where people push each other to get better every day. Coach Darveau is a big reason why Pitt stands out to me. He’s real, honest, and someone I feel like I can learn a lot from. He knows how to develop offensive linemen and also cares about who you are off the field. Pitt feels like a place where I could grow as a player and a person, and that really means something to me.”
The 6-foot-3, 285-pound 3-star offensive lineman currently holds offers from Pitt, Boston College, Cincinnati, Coastal Carolina, Duke, East Carolina, Marshall, Maryland, South Florida, Stanford, Syracuse, Toledo, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and West Virginia.
Following his first visit to Pitt, Hamilton spoke with PSN and was very much impressed with HC Pat Narduzzi, his potential position coach Jeremy Darveau and local recruiter Lindsey Lamar.
“Pitt was great,” Hamilton told Pittsburgh Sports Now. “I got to talk to coach Narduzzi, coach Darveau — great people, learned a lot from them. Learned how coach Darveau teaches the O-line, his rules and what he wants his guys to do. It was great.”
“For the college I want to go to, I want to be comfortable with the coaching staff and be around a coaching staff that’s going to really appreciate their guys and talk to their guys,” Hamilton said. “Coach Narduzzi was a really great person; he likes to build relationships with his players. Even the recruits that are coming in from high school.”

He had a chance to build a bond with Narduzzi on the visit, as he’s well-versed with Lamar from high school visits and Darveau as his position coach. But that relationship with Darveau continues to blossom. Darveau likes Hamilton’s versatility, the way he’s able to play multiple spots. And he fits what Darveau is looking for skill-wise.
“He looks for a great pass blocker, great pass protector, that’s what he wants out of his guys,” Hamilton said. “And I think I’m really good at that.”
