The top kicker in the 2026 class happens to be in Pitt football’s backyard, and after extending an offer over a week ago, the five-star WPIAL product has locked in an official visit with the Panthers.

Harran Zureikat, who attends Fox Chapel High School, will take an official visit at Pitt from June 19-21, he announced Tuesday morning via X.

Zureikat is a five-star prospect and ranks as the top kicker and second-best punter in the 2026 cycle, according to the Kohls Kicking rankings.

He picked up an offer from Pitt on May 3 from special teams coordinator Jacob Bronowski, who has been recruiting the specialist for some time now. Zureikat attended a camp at Pitt last June, was in attendance for the Clemson game in the fall and made the short trip for a spring visit a few weeks ago.

“It truly means a lot being offered by my hometown team,” Zureikat told Pittsburgh Sports Now after receiving the offer. “Getting this opportunity to play in the stadium just 20 minutes from my home is honestly euphoric to me. Needless to say it’s one of if not the greatest stadium in the world.”

Bronowski has played a key role in Zureikat’s recruitment and why Pitt is a top contender in his recruitment.

“My relationship with Coach Bronowski started last summer and it has been great ever since. Coach Bronowski is a great coach let alone a great guy. He helps me not only with the recruiting process but also is able to give me great tips on how to be a better specialist myself,” Zureikat said.

Along with Pitt, Syracuse, Boston College, Maryland and Akron have all offered top kicker in the country. He has additional upcoming official visits with Boston College (May 30) and Syracuse (June 13-15). Zureikat further tells PSN that he plans on setting up one with Pitt.

Recently, Zureikat competed at the Hammer Kicking Academy camp in Pittsburgh where he won both the field goal and punting competitions with a 61-yard field goal and 60 yard punt with a 4.9 hang time.
