Official visits are being locked in by 2026 recruits around the country and that includes those in the WPIAL.

Woodland Hills linebacker Zykir “Ziggy” Moore announced that he has scheduled three official visits, two of which will be at schools in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Moore — a 6-foot-2, 215-pound talent — will take officials at Toledo from May 30-June 1, N.C. State from June 6-8 and Boston College on the weekend of June 13.

The three schools have stood out in Moore’s recruitment thanks to the respective coaching staffs and culture that each team has, Moore told Pittsburgh Sports Now.

Moore’s overall offer sheet stands at Syracuse, N.C. State, Boston College, UConn, Albany, UNLV, Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan, Liberty, Ohio, Akron, Miami (OH), Kent State, Toledo, Buffalo, Sacramento State, New Hampshire, Monmouth and UMass.

When it comes to a timeline, Moore says there is not a specific date, but is eyeing around July to make a decision.

This past fall, Moore missed time with an injury. In Week 0 against Erie McDowell, he recorded 10 tackles, three tackles for loss and one pass breakup. At running back, he totaled touchdown runs of 18 and five yards.

Moore’s recruitment picked up after his sophomore season as he totaled 99 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles and one interception, along with 13 offensive touchdowns as he earned First Team All-Conference honors.
