**Another offer from Pitt to a 4-star player as this one goes to 2027 4-star DE/OT Carter Blattner from Northern Highlands High School in Allendale, New Jersey. Blattner (6’5″, 260-pounds) is ranked by 247 Sports as the No. 6 sophomore in New Jersey and one of the Top 30 lineman in the Class of 2027. Blattner received the offer from OL Coach Tim Daoust and holds others from Boston College, Duke, Rutgers, Syracuse and Wake Forest.

Update (1:11 PM)-
**A third offer today from Pitt to a player from Pennsylvania with the latest one going to a big-time prospect. 2027 4-star offensive lineman Terrance Smith from Landsdale, Pennsylvania received an offer from Cory Sanders and Jeremy Darveau. Smith is ranked by 247 Sports as one of the T0p 100 overall players in the Class of 2027. Smith (6’6″, 260-pounds) currently holds offers from Alabama, Boston College, Duke, Kentucky, Michigan State, Missouri, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, Rutgers, South Carolina, Syracuse, Tennessee, Wake Forest, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

Update (12:16 PM)-  

**This morning, Pitt extended an offer to 2027 OL/DL Stanley Montgomery from Philadelphia. Montgomery (6’3”, 290-pounds) has also received offers from Kentucky, Wisconsin, NC State, Wake Forest, Duke, Delaware State and Syracuse. Montgomery made a recent visit to Pitt when he attended the Pitt Blue/Gold game.

**Some in-state recruiting this morning for Pitt as they extend an offer to 2027 wide receiver Cade Cooper from Malvern, Pennsylvania. Cooper is 6′-3″, 195-pounds and holds offers from Duke, Kentucky, Boston College, Akron, Kent State, Maryland, Michigan State, Syracuse and Virginia Tech. Cooper received the offer from area recruiter Cory Sanders.

Update (10:33 AM)-
**More and more Power 4 teams continue to show interest and recruit players that have already given a commitment to Pitt. The latest example is 2026 3-star wide receiver Dylan Wester from Sarasota, Florida. Yesterday, the talented wide out received an offer from Purdue. Wester gave a commitment to Pitt back on March 21st.

 

Update (10:23 AM)-
**The Pitt football program has a strong history recruiting in Clearwater, Florida and yesterday, they extended an offer to 2026 3-star cornerback Kentrail Mcrae Jr. from Clearwater. Along with Pitt, Mcrae (6’2″, 170-pounds) also holds offers from South Florida, Appalachian State, Buffalo, Central Michigan, East Carolina, Florida International, Florida Atlantic, Iowa State, Liberty, Louisville, Michigan State, Rutgers and Wake Forest.

Update (9:45 AM)- 

**The Pitt staff has extended an offer to 2027 3-star athlete Daniel (DJ) Davis from Middletown, Delaware. Davis (6’2”, 180-pounds) has an offer list that includes Penn State, Virginia Tech, Cincinnati, North Carolina, Temple, West Virginia, Duke, Boston College and Old Dominion.

Update (9:29 AM)- 

**Pitt WR coach JJ Laster has extended an offer to 2027 4-star WR Jamarin Simmons from Tallahassee, Florida. Simmons (5’11”, 160 pounds) is rated as one of the Top 30 sophomores in Florida and one of the Top 250 players in the Class of 2027 by Rivals.
