Pitt Lands 3-Star PG, Former Iowa State Signee

Pitt has landed eight new players so far this offseason after a disappointing 2024-25 season.

Last Thursday evening, Macari Moore — a 6-foot-3 point guard from Ann Arbor Huron High School in Michigan — announced his commitment to the Panthers via X.

Moore became the fourth prep prospect in the 2025 class to go along with signees Omari Witherspoon, a four-star guard out of St. John’s College Prep in Washington D.C., Kieran Mullen, a 7-foot center out of St. Thomas Moore School in Connecticut, and Australian wing Henry Lau.

The Panthers have also signed Dishon Jackson, a former Iowa State center, as well as Oregon State guard transfer Damarco Minor and South Alabama transfer wing Barry Dunning  Jr.
