Four-star wide receiver Jaydon Dunbar out of Thomas County Central High School in Georgia has made some adjustments to his official visit schedule.

It’s not the first time that Dunbar has shifted around his schedule, and after originally canceling an official to Pitt, he is now back on the books to visit from June 5-7, swapping out his visit with in-state Georgia.

“After a lot of thought, I will be canceling my official visit with the University of Georgi and I will be replacing it with the University of Pittsburgh for June 5-7,” Dunbar wrote in a post on X.

Dunbar, who stands at 6-foot-5, 180 pounds, was scheduled to visit Pitt on June 19-21 but canceled that one back in March. He switched out those dates for Kansas State. He’s also slated to take an official visit at Duke from May 30-June 1 and to Mississippi State on the weekend of June 13.

The Panthers are an intriguing school involved in Dunbar’s recruitment. Back in early April, the 2026 prospect included Pitt as a top 10 school, along with some other stiff competition in Georgia, Georgia Tech, Michigan State, Kentucky, Duke, West Virginia, Minnesota, Mississippi State and USF.

Pitt was the fourth Division I and second Power Four offer for Dunbar coming back on Jan. 6 of this year.

With his size and speed, Dunbar is a vertical threat on the outside. His long strides and quick acceleration help him take the top off of defenses. His sudden shiftiness also allows his to lose defenders in coverage and leverage the middle of the field.

In 10 games as a junior this past fall for Thomas County, Dunbar hauled in 26 receptions for 476 yards (18.3 avg.) and seven touchdowns as the Yellow Jackets went 11-2.

Rivals rates Dunbar as a four-star prospect, the 40th receiver in the class and 41st player out of Georgia.
