**Last night, a few WPIAL athletes received D-1 offers- Central Catholic 2027 linebacker Roman Thompson (Kent State), Mt. Lebanon 2026 athlete Joseph Malone (Bucknell, Lehigh) and Central Catholic 2027 offensive tackle James Halter (Indiana).

Update (8:07 AM)-
**Congratulations to 2026 OL/DE Jackson Kraemer from Mt. Lebanon High School as last night he received an offer from Albany, which becomes his first D-1 offer. Following the offer from Albany, Kraemer (6’3″, 255-pounds) received an offer from Robert Morris.

 

Update (7:57 AM)-
**Some recruiting news concerning 2026 athlete Braeden Stuart from Moon High School. On Tuesday, Stuart received offers from both Bucknell and New Hampshire. Prior to yesterday, Stuart received offers from Air Force and Carnegie Mellon. Aside from football, Stuart excels in both basketball and track and field, along with being a 4.25 student in the classroom.

 

Update (7:46 AM)-
**Congratulations to Central Catholic 2027 offensive lineman Jon Sassic for receiving an offer from NC State, which becomes his first Power 4 offer. Sassic (6’6″, 295-pounds) also received an offer on Tuesday from Kent State. Along with those two, Sassic has also received offers from Miami Ohio, Buffalo, Sacramento State and Toledo. Central Catholic’s offensive line for 2025 now has three players with Power 4 offers- Sassic, 2027 offensive tackle James Halter and 2027 4-star offensive tackle Jimmy Kalis.
