“After great conversations with Coach Smetanka, a lot of praying and conversations with my family, I have decided to attend The Kiski School,” Jaivin Peel wrote in a post on X. “I’m very excited for this opportunity and the next chapter of my high school football career. Thank you to LP/WB for all the memories and good times. I will miss you all.”
Peel attended Lincoln Park Performing Arts School in Midland, Pa., but played for Western Beaver through a co-op between the two schools
As a freshman in the fall of 2023, Peel tossed for 2,889 yards — a WPIAL record for a freshman — along with 33 touchdowns. He earned First Team All-Conference honors.
Prior to his sophomore year, Peel announced his intentions to transfer to Central Catholic. He would then return to Lincoln Park, where he was ruled eligible to play after the movement.
During his sophomore season, the 6-foot-1, 190-pounder completed 153-of-258 passes for 2,542 yards and 29 passes, along with three rushing scores as he led the Golden Beavers to an 8-3 overall record and playoff appearance.
The Kiski School is located in Saltsburg, Pa. and is a member of the Interstate Prep League. The Cougars went 6-3 in 2024 as they won their final four games of the year.
