After Recent Offer, 2026 DL Locks in Pitt Official Visit

After picking up a recent offer from the Pitt Panthers, 2026 defensive lineman Christian Harris has locked in an official visit with the program.
Harris — a 6-foot-1, 285-pound talent out of Archbishop Moeller in Cincinnati, Ohio — has scheduled a Pitt official visit for June 19-21.

The official visit announcement comes hours after Harris nabbed an offer from the Panthers and defensive line coach Tim Daoust.
It won’t be the first time in Pittsburgh for Harris as he visited for a gameday experience against Clemson in November.
Harris listed a final four back on May 9 that included Wake Forest, Western Michigan, Buffalo and Yale, but Pitt quickly becomes a player in Harris’ recruitment as Daoust looks to land his first defensive lineman in the class. He has additional official visits lined up with Buffalo from June 20-22 and Wake Forest.
As a junior at Moeller, Harris collected 59 total tackles, 18.5 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks as he was named to the Greater Catholic League First Team.
Harris has yet to be rated by any of the major recruiting services, but is considered a defensive tackle by ESPN and Rivals.
Pitt will host one other defensive tackle in three-star North Allegheny prospect Lincoln Hoke, who will visit from June 5-7.
The Panthers currently hold five commitments in the 2026 class. Three-star quarterback Angelo Renda, three-star wide receivers Dylan Wester and Demetrice McCray make up the offensive prospects, while three-star safety Isaac Patterson and three-star outside linebacker Marcus Jennings are the two defensive commitments.
