Die-Hards: Pitt Still on the Hunt for WR’s

The first group of official visitors is always big because it has the potential to set the tone for the upcoming weeks.

If a school receives commitments from recruits that are visiting, that could impact if players that are scheduled to visit later on that month end up coming. Either a player could decide to cancel their visit, or the school would cancel it for them.

That sounds harsh but that’s the reality and the business of recruiting.

As the saying goes, the majority of scholarships offered come with an expiration date.

Next weekend, Pitt is currently scheduled to bring in 20+ recruits for official visits and the position group that intrigues me most is at wide receiver.

Despite having already received commitments from two wide receivers, Kade Bell and Pitt have a number of very talented and highly ranked wide receivers scheduled for visits.

Here’s a look at who’s coming, who’s not coming and some thoughts on the situation.
