**On Thursday, Pitt extended an offer to 2027 athlete Josiah Pouncy (6’3″, 205-pounds) from Cincinnati, Ohio. Pouncy holds D-1 offers from Purdue, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Louisville, Western Michigan, Cincinnati, Akron, South Florida, Kent State, Toledo and Miami, Ohio. Pouncey’s recruitment will only continue to go up considering his size and athleticism. Last season at Taft High School, he showed tremendous versatility playing cornerback, safety, wide receiver, tight and outside linebacker.

**The Pitt women’s basketball program has extended an offer to elite 2027 forward Micah Ojo from Virginia. Earlier this week, Ojo was named to the 2025 USA Women’s U16 National Team. Ojo is currently rates as one of the Top 25 players in the Class of 2027. Along with Pitt, Ojo holds offers from a number of programs such as Baylor, Kentucky, South Carolina, Georgia, Indiana, Texas A&M, Clemson, Ole Miss, North Carolina, Central Florida, Louisville, Virginia Tech, Florida State, Tennessee, etc.

**Seton LaSalle 2027 athlete Nelson Coleman has announced that he will be transferring to Rabun Gap High School. Coleman holds offers from West Virginia, Miami Ohio, Sacramento State, Toledo and Akron.
