Woodland Hills 2026 linebacker Zykir Moore has quietly put together a strong recruitment with nearly 20 Division I offers ranging from ACC schools to other intriguing FBS programs.

With official visit season upon us, Moore decided to narrow his recruitment down to a final five schools, three of which he will visit in the coming weeks.

Moore’s top five consists of Syracuse, N.C. State, Boston College, UConn and Toledo; he announced via X on Friday.

This weekend from May 30-June 1, Moore is taking an official visit at Toledo. He will also take officials at N.C. State from June 6-8 and Boston College on the weekend of June 13.

Syracuse became Moore’s first Power Four offer back in June of 2024, while UConn offered a month earlier. He picked up his offers from Boston College and N.C. State while on spring visits at the respective schools.

Two weeks ago, Moore told Pittsburgh Sports Now that he does not have a specific commitment date yet, but is eyeing a possible decision in July after his official visits.

This past fall, Moore missed time with an injury. In Week 0 against Erie McDowell, he recorded 10 tackles, three tackles for loss and one pass breakup. At running back, he totaled touchdown runs of 18 and five yards.

Moore’s recruitment picked up after his sophomore season as he totaled 99 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles and one interception, along with 13 offensive touchdowns as he earned First Team All-Conference honors.
