Where Were Pitt Targets Over the Weekend?

A number of Pitt football targets were out and about as the first official visit weekend of June took place.
Pat Narduzzi and Pitt will host their first group of visitors this weekend and some of the happenings over the last couple of days had on impact on Pitt.
Official visits are a very fluid thing because just because one is scheduled, doesn’t mean that it’s going to take place. Commitments either from that player or someone else, often lead to a player canceling their visit.
That’s going to be the case with Pitt as a couple of players that were scheduled to visit, made the decision to commit to other programs over the weekend.
Here were the biggest headlines from the weekend as they relate to Pitt.
*2026 3-star safety Davis Kinney announced this morning that following his OV, that he could be committing to Northwestern. The native of Richmond, Texas was someone that the Pitt staff recruited regularly and Kinney was scheduled to visit Pitt from June 12-14. Kinney was also considering Minnesota and Arizona State.
**2026 3-star wide receiver Jeffar Jean-Noel made an official visit to Georgia Tech. The native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida will make his next official visit this weekend to Pitt. Noel originally committed to West Virginia on February 1st but made the decision on April 17th to de-commit. Noel holds offers from Purdue, Central Florida, Kentucky, Boston College, Coastal Carolina, Florida Atlantic, Liberty, Louisville, Miami, Michigan, Missouri, NC State, UCLA, South Florida, Washington, Western Michigan and Wisconsin.

*2026 3-star tight end Javonte Williams made an official visit over the weekend to hometown Maryland. The native of Potomac, Maryland will make his official visit to Pitt this weekend and also is scheduled to take OVs to both Indiana and NC State.
*2026 4-star offensive tackle Tyler Duell won’t be making his Pitt official visit after making a commitment to Rutgers. Duell (West Chester, PA.) is rated as the No. 6 prospect in PA and was scheduled to be in Pittsburgh from June 19-21.
*Speaking of Rutgers, Peters Township 2026 4-star linebacker Reston Lehman was there for his official visit this weekend. Lehman is scheduled to visit Pitt this weekend and is one of their top defensive targets.
*2026 4-star offensive tackle Day’jon Moore made an official visit over the weekend to Maryland. The native of Willis, Texas is scheduled to visit Pitt from June 12-14.
