Upcoming Official Visitor Places Pitt as Finalist, Sets Commitment Date

Official visits weigh heavily on a prospects’ eventual decision and Pitt has several visitors lined up that will announce their commitments in the following weeks.
Three-star offensive lineman Adrian Hamilton out of St. John’s College High (Washington, D.C) became the latest player to set a commitment date that will follow his slate of visits.
It will come down to Pitt, West Virginia, Michigan State, Virginia Tech and Virginia for the 6-3, 295-pound Hamilton and he will make his decision on July 5. He will take an official visit at Pitt from June 12-14.

He cut out other Power Four offers from his recruitment such as Maryland, Syracuse, Wake Forest, Boston College, Duke, Stanford and Cincinnati.
While Hamilton will take a Pitt official during the second weekend of June, he is currently at Michigan State from June 2-4, and will then visit Virginia during the weekend of June 6 and close out with Virginia Tech from June 20-22.
Pitt initially offered Hamilton back in September of 2024 and then he made the trip to Pittsburgh with his family for a junior day in January.
“Pitt was great,” Hamilton told Pittsburgh Sports Now following the visit. “I got to talk to coach Narduzzi, coach Darveau — great people, learned a lot from them. Learned how coach Darveau teaches the O-line, his rules and what he wants his guys to do. It was great.”
Hamilton is rated as a three-star prospect by several recruiting services, but 247Sports lists him as the No. 65 interior offensive lineman in the class and fourth-best player in the D.C. area.
Entering official visit season, Pitt currently has five commitments in the 2026 class with quarterback Angelo Renda, wide receivers Dylan Wester and Demetrice McCray, along with outside linebacker Marcus Jennings and safety Isaac Patterson.
In addition to Hamilton, Pitt is expected to host at least seven uncommitted offensive line prospects for official visits.
