Pitt FB Recruiting
To The Burgh: Priority Four-Star WR Larry Miles

To The Burgh is a Pittsburgh Sports Now series detailing each uncommitted 2026 prospect expected to be at Pitt for an official visit in June.
Pitt football will welcome a top priority wide receiver in four-star Larry Miles during the first weekend of June for an official visit.
While the Panthers already hold two wide receiver commitments in the 2026 class, Miles would be a key fixture of the class if Pitt can land him.
Pitt offered Miles — a 5-11, 175-pound talent out of Jone High School in Winter Garden, Fla. — in October of 2024, and offensive coordinator Kade Bell and wide receivers coach JJ Laster have spearheaded the recruitment of the speedy wide out.

Status: Pitt is in the top 10 for Miles, along with Miami, Florida State, Syracuse, Louisville, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Kansas State, Georgia Tech and Boston College.
Miles will take official visits at Pitt, Kentucky and Syracuse, but Miami is a favorite right now, according to Rivals. He also added an offer from Nebraska while on a recent unofficial visit and was at Oregon on June 1.
Nate’s Take: The Pitt staff has made good strides with Miles and the official will be the Florida prospect’s first time on campus. Pitt will have a lot of work ahead of itself as the Panthers will need to make a strong impression while Miles is on his in-depth visit.
Ultimately, I’m not sure if Pitt can out-recruit some of the other contenders in Miles’ recruitment, especially with in-state Miami as a top favorite.
