Florida 3-Star CB Kentrail McRae Jr. Commits to Pitt

Commitment No. 3 for Pitt this weekend has revealed himself.
2026 3-star cornerback Kentrail McRae Jr. announced on Twitter that he’s joining Pitt’s Class of 2026. Of Pitt’s 8 commitments, McRae becomes the 3rd from the state of Florida.
McRae is a 6’2″, 170-pound cornerback from Clearwater High School in Clearwater, Florida. McRae was one of the last players of this weekend’s big group of visitors to announce his intentions to visit Pitt. Originally, McRae was scheduled to visit South Florida this weekend.

McRae officially received his offer from Archie Collins on May 13th and also held offers from Cincinnati, Louisville, Rutgers, Iowa State, Michigan State, Wake Forest, South Florida, Buffalo, Liberty, East Carolina, Florida Atlantic, Florida International and Central Michigan.

Pitt currently has eight commitments for their Class of 2026- 3-star quarterback Angelo Renda (Southlake, Texas), 3-star safety Issac Patterson (Columbus, Ohio), 3-star wide receiver Dylan Wester (Sarasota, Florida), 3-star linebacker Marcus Jennings (Detroit, Michigan), 3-star wide receiver Demetrice McCray (Orlando, Florida), 3-star defensive tackle Lincoln Hoke (North Allegheny HS) and offensive lineman John Curran III (Pine-Richland High School).
