Updated 2026 Pitt Team Recruiting Rankings After Commitments

Pitt football entered the first official visit weekend of the year with just five commitments in its 2026 class. That number has now tripled to 15 with some impressive recruits rounding out the group.

With that big of a haul, Pitt saw a jump in its recruiting rankings across the major recruiting services.

Prior to official visitors making their way to campus starting on Thursday, Pitt’s 2026 class ranked 63rd overall, per 247Sports.

Now, the Panthers have made a significant jump to No. 29 in the composite rankings with an overall grade average of 86.48. Pitt also ranks 11th in the ACC.

Pitt has moved up to No. 42 when it comes to the 2026 recruiting classes on Rivals. Pitt is ahead of Georgia Tech, South Florida and BYU. The Panthers also rank 11th in the ACC.
