Massive Offer for WPIAL K Harran Zureikat

Kickers don’t normally receive a ton of attention in recruiting but that won’t be the case this year as the WPIAL once again has another national prospect.

Last year, North Allegheny 2026 kicker Peter Notaro received a scholarship and signed with Alabama.

It’s hard to believe but another local kicker has the opportunity to sign with an SEC program.

Following an on-campus workout, Fox Chapel 2026 kicker Harran Zureikat received a scholarship offer from Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs. It’s been a heck of a month for Zureikat as he’s received offers from Pitt and Penn State. Prior to that, Zureikat received offers from Syracuse, Boston College, Maryland and Akron.

Zureikat is a five-star prospect and ranks as the top kicker and second-best punter in the 2026 cycle, according to the Kohls Kicking rankings.

“I’ll start off by saying that this process has not been an easy one, and I am blessed to say that,” Zureikat tells PSN. “Every school that has offered me offers amazing opportunities both on and off the field. Being offered by a school like Georgia honesty at first is a little surreal and it feels crazy that I have the opportunity to play in the SEC. But on the other hand, I know that I am capable of, and I feel very deserving of this offer.”

This offer obviously could and probably will impact some visits that Zureikat has planned.

In terms of official visits, Zureikat has made one to Boston College and is scheduled to be in Syracuse this weekend followed by one to Pitt from June 19-21.

Official visit dates to both Penn State and Georgia should be announced in the near future.

Zureikat isn’t the only 2026 WPIAL kicker with Power 4 talent as Hopewell’s Rocco Marcantonio has big time talent and should be a D-1 kicker.
