While Pitt secured 10 commitments this past weekend in the Class of 2026, there are still seven prospects that left uncommitted.

However, that could change in the coming weeks from two of those recruits as decision dates have been set for four-star wide receiver Larry Miles and three-star defensive back Xavier Jackson.

Miles will announce his decision on July 1, while Jackson will make his choice public a few days prior on June 28.

When it comes to Miles, the Pitt staff is very high on the speedy 6-foot slot wide receiver. Although the Panthers have three wide receivers already in the 2026 class — Dylan Wester, Demetrice McCray and Jaydon Dunbar — adding more talent to that room is still a possibility.

Out of Jones High School in Orlando, Fla., Miles picked up an offer from Pitt back on Oct. 19. This spring he released a top list of schools that consists of Pitt, Kentucky, Miami, Florida State, Louisville, Syracuse, Kansas State, Boston College, Georgia Tech and Wisconsin. Nebraska has also picked up momentum with a recent offer while Miles was on a visit and the Cornhuskers will get the last official visit this coming weekend.

Pitt would love to add Miles to an already solid receiver room in the 2026 class, but the Panthers are up against some tough competition.

Rivals views Miles as a four-star prospect, the No. 8 slot receiver in the class and No. 57 prospect out of Florida.

As for Jackson, he just wrapped up his third trip to Pittsburgh. He was in town for the Pitt-Virginia game that concluded with him receiving an offer and he returned for a junior day visit in January.

The 6-2, 190-pound Bergen Catholic (New Jersey) cornerback has additional offers from Michigan State, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Carolina, Wake Forest, Syracuse, West Virginia, Purdue, Temple, James Madison, Delaware, Army, Navy, Charlotte, UConn, Kent State and others.

He recently took an official visit to Minnesota and will head to Michigan State from June 13-15. Pitt certainly has a chance with Jackson and have only one cornerback commit in the class, so it will be interesting to see how the next few weeks unfold for his recruitment.

247Sports lists Jackson as a three-star, the No. 47 corner in the class and ninth-best player out of New Jersey.
